The World Baseball Softball Federation (WBSC) released the results of the 12 participating teams' meeting in Guatemala, Mexico, on its website on Wednesday (Korea time). 

The participating countries must submit a preliminary entry by September 3. The 28 final entries will be announced on October 3.
